December 14, 2006 ...

Mid December, mid-sixty degree temperatures, and Mike LeMasters, Wichita, KS - KLR650, e-mailed me (Roger Baugh, Wichita, KS - KLR650). "Let's ride!" We decided to rendezvous in Andale, KS for lunch at the local cafe'.

Western Sedgwick and eastern Reno counties are fairly flat, and the backroads are sandy ... but with 360 degree panoramas, and deep blue skies, pretty nice to be out in the middle of it all. Also, some very interesting Catholic church architectural designs can be found out there ... just look for any of the numerous church spires that penetrate the horizon.

Had to get back to Wichita to get some work accomplished, but it sure was a nice diversion. Not a single bug splat, either!
