Photos taken near St. Mark's, St. Mary's, Castleton, and Andale on November 4, 2001.

Three riders on this trip: Henry Harvey - Moto Guzzi Quota, Tom Hamby - KTM LC4 640, and Roger Baugh - Kawasaki KLR650. Weather was superb .... in the high 50s with a light fog in the morning, warming to the 70s and clearing in the afternoon.

We elected to spend most of our time touring the backroads around the Cheney Reservoir Wildlife refuge and surrounding towns. We found and followed an abandoned rail line out of Castleton .... looks promising for future adventures.

This ride was a comfortable one in terms of overall mileage and pace. November in Kansas usually means the sleet and snow, so we've been granted quite a reprieve thus far!
