Weather was as close to perfect as one could want .... in the low 60s and clear in the morning, warming to the 70s in the afternoon. Riders came in from Danville, Valley Center, Durham, Chanute, Emporia, and Wichita to rendezvous in Beaumont.

Joe Williams served as tour guide, leading the group first along an abandoned rail line, then through some incredible valleys and backways.

Tom Harmon managed to win both the "Mud Pie" and "Most Creative Freestyle Stunt" trophies. Congratulations, Tom!

Probably the most challenging ride of the season, and one of the most unforgettable. Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun!
